Your journey is simply just about to begin and the intention of me writing this book is to share with you my journey in the hope that it wish help you to understand the emotions, shock and sheer terror that such news brings and to offer several encouragement.
The one thing I have learnt although throughout my research is that cipher has the exact same experience and it was therefore my aim to include the resources to find nice information and associations that have forums for you to ask questions of another growth survivors because everybody has a several story and we all experience several events. Your story wish be several once again and one of your better friends at this time wish be your doctor. If you haven't already, find one that has time for you, one that you trust and respect and ask as galore questions as you need to.

'Upon waking up one morning, I yawned and stretched as everyone does at the start of a new day and suddenly felt my lower leg start to flick kick involuntarily....I grabbed my leg but was unable to finish it and as it didn't last really long, I thought I may have at bay a nerve in my back or hip. I have no medical training so why I thought that I have no idea! It simply seemed like a sound explanation at the time'.
Nobody ever expects to be diagnosed with a brain growth and believe me it would be surely have been one of my worst nightmares. It does your blood run cold and turns your life into a spinning top of anxiety and fear. You're frightened and everyone about you is frightened and your 1st thought is why you should have fallen victim to this situation. I use the word 'victim', because that's how I felt at the time. I hope that by reading my story it wish help you in coming to terms with your own situation. This book covers my experiences, from my Symptoms, through Diagnosis, the Emotions felt by everyone, the consequent Hospital Tests, MRI, Surgery and Recuperation.
